1948 Phinney Walker gold desk clock perpetual 22 year Calendar Clock -

You are bidding on this Vintage easel back Phinney-Walker clock with perpetual 22-year calendar. I wound clock and it works. Please refer to photos for condition of item.  Closely review my pictures as they are part of my description. This item is being sold as is with no guarantees due to its age. Here are the details: The face of the clock is 4 inches square, and the frame is just over 1/2 inches thick. The frame and clock cover is approx. 1 inch thick not including the keys. The easel stand portion is missing. The face is cream colored and is marked Phinney-Walker under the 12 position and Made in U.S.A. under the 6 position . The bezel, back and movement cover appear to be brass and are in nice condition with few minor scratches and scuffs commensurate with age. The numbers, dots and dashes on face are gold colored. It has a calendar window where the 6 would be. The months are set from the back by a pair of sliders which move the month, so it lines up under the proper days. The winder and set knob are both present. There is also a fast/slow adjustment. The back of the clock is marked: Patent Pending. It also has instructions for setting the clock and slider knobs to adjust the calendar.  I estimate the age of this clock to be from 1948, maybe a year earlier. This is because the earliest year to set the month is 1948. There is a block of years starting '48 to '69. And below that, an opening where you see the months, which move with the sliders to set the calendar. Even though is way p a st 1969, you can still properly set the calendar for the current months and into the future, you just have to know what day the first of the month is on! This was preowned.
