This 1943 Hamilton Military WW2 Chronometer Model 22 was made for the US Navy and comes with its original boxes. Crafted from wood, the boxes and chronometer are a vintage original from the WWII era. This chronometer is a must-have for collectors of maritime clocks and anyone interested in military history. The plastic porthole window on the inner box has turned brown from age. But the inner box still has a US Navy property sticker on it .The outer box has splashes of battleship grey paint still on it. The leather strap is gone.The chronometer is in great condition and working properly. Signed on the movement United States Bureau of Ships 1943. I feel this piece was active for service during WW2.
